[채용] 그린피스 회계 담당자 (Junior Accountant) (~4/21)

Purpose of the position
Produce and Ensure integrity and accuracy of the all internal and external financial reporting; ensure that good internal controls are implemented and maintained across all operations; ensure all the reporting are on time and be compliance with the internal procedures, local and state regulations and laws.

Scope
The senior accountant manages and monitors daily accounting operation, works closely with other team(s), NRO(s) and GPI, signs off global campaign budget , researches related FR, tax , accounting , local and international regulations, updates information to managers regarding local accounting, taxation and other compliance policies, support system upgrades and implementations, prepares department, office and projects budgets and finance report, investigates and analyses variances, recommends improvements for the working process, increases work efficiencies.

Major functions/responsibilities
o Understand accounting principles and know how to apply accounting principles into daily accounting
 operation
o Initiate discussion with project leaders about financial aspect of MoU, cooperate with project leaders,
 GPI finance team, and Fundraising team to develop the project resources plan.
o Provides updated information to the managers regarding local accounting, taxation and other
 compliance regulations and laws and make recommendations to the managers;
o Manage daily accounting operations, upload excel template to accounting system
o Study and research related accounting, taxation and other NGO related compliance issues, translate
 related documents from Korean to English
o Establish the detailed project budget, consolidate NRO's reports, establish global monthly project
 financial reporting for sharing with project leaders and involved NROs, analyze variance and do the
 forecasts for the project lifetime
o Supervise, coach and back up part-time accountant, hold finance workshop periodically, assist system
 upgrade and implementation
o Provide organizational direction to NRO financial staff involved in the project (planning, reporting,
 monitoring, meeting, security, confidentiality, documentation)
o Follow up pending issues and support finance manager and deputy finance director by handling
 assigned ad-hoc projects
o Support the project leaders when collecting contributions from other NROs, coordinate input,
 expenditures &questions from NROs including financial issues
o Prepare financial reports for various third parties, handle all the related NGO compliance issues, ensure
 all the financial reports are in compliance with internal, local and state regulations and submitted on
 time
o Perform month-end and year-end closing; reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly, assist internal and
 external audits
o Support the project leader in ensuring the project is fully funded and that this is reflected in the MoU
 and project documentation. Review the MoU before it is signed and report any abnormality to the
 parties involved
o Ensure the budget is developed in collaboration with the project leader and Fundraising Department
o Track the expenditures, collect a narrative from the NROs if over/underspent and regularly check with
 the PL, keep in touch with GPI for progress of funding (have all NROs paid their share) and feedback
 to Project Leader
o Monitor all cluster financials, review monthly reporting and check plausibility, report to project leader,
 follow up pending issues and reconcile funding management with actual spending and booking,
 update budget forecast and initiate change of funding agreement in due time when necessary
o Ensure that terms and conditions of the MoU are respected and that relevant and proving
 documentation will be provided to the NRO's according to their statutory or legal needs
o Ensure all the funding transfers are in compliance with internal, local and state procedures and
 regulations

Requirements:
o Certificates Bachelor degree in accounting or related field
o At least 6 years accounting or finance working experience
o Professional, goal oriented, Develops and maintains effective relationships with others, Shares
 knowledge, Trusts, values, and respects others, Innovative
o Fluent written and spoken English &Korean
o Experience with the following software: Advanced Excel
o Attention to detail
o Ability to work under pressure, time management skills , training skills and presentation skills
o Team player, tactful and diplomatic
o Ability to motivate and instill passion
o The highest level of integrity
o Proactiveness, Discretion and confidentiality, Promote teamwork, Positive / constructive thinking
o Office based in Seoul, South Korea, the position works in a standard office environment
o Be on call after hours and on weekends as requested

  Invoice recording &payment of invoices and expense claims, coordination with HK finance on transfer
  and payments, reconciliation bank statements
 *자금 관리(Financial management):
  budget planning, revenue recognition, monthly financial statements, tax declaration, financial
  registration change for developing needs
 *직원 교육: Financial training on employees
 *연말 회계 감사: Year-end audit report &other statutory formalities
 *자산관리: office asset management(periodical checks on inventory &fixed assets)
